Best time spending for petrolhead on Tenerife

if you’re visiting tenerife and have an interest in cars, or want a fun way to explore the area this is a must, We spent half a day exploring the Volcano and surrounding roads and its fair to say its some of the most enjoyable driving i’ve done. The cars are great and the roads given to us by the guys at 7 Drive were perfect. The owners of the business are some of the nicest people we’ve met, they even helped us when we realised our rental car was parked in a closed car park, by getting in contact with the owners to come open later in the evening and even offering us to join them for food & drinks while we wait, we can’t extend our appreciation more. I had the amazing opportunity to drive a Caterham with 7 Drive Tenerife, and it was absolutely incredible! I joined the 4-hour driving tour, got behind the wheel myself, and explored the beautiful roads around Tenerife. The experience was fun, exciting, and full of adrenaline from start to finish. I shared it with my girlfriend, and we both had an amazing time! A huge thanks to Fred, the owner of 7 Drive Tenerife — he was super friendly, professional, and passionate. He explained everything about the car in detail and even let me try a driving simulator, which made the experience even more special.

Epic, awesome, wonderful and go on! From start to finish it was an experience we will never forget. The Caterham Seven 340: To make you feel comfy and confident you get in the race simulator first and after the instructions from the owners it’s clear: safety first and get home safe. Very nice and reassuring. And then the ride, oh men what a feeling, the power, steering, the raw feeling you get with: men, machine and road: what a car :)! and of course the diverse nature Tenerife has to offer. It’s like you travel through 4 or 5 complete different countries in 1 day. This is the ultimate way to explore the beautiful island of Tenerife!

Expérience exceptionnelle ! Si vous lisez les avis c’est que vous êtes un minimum passionné d’automobile, et ne cherchez pas plus loin ! Vous êtes au bon endroit pour passer un moment particulier avec une voiture d’exception. Quoi de mieux que de profiter d’une journée complète pour visiter les plus beaux endroits de Tenerife ! J’ai eu la chance d’être au volant d’une des deux Caterham disponible à l’essai, après un petit passage sur simulateur vous prendrez le volant pour découvrir le Teide, Anaga ou autres, cheveux au vent, j’en garderai personnellement un souvenir mémorable. Du début à la fin, vous serez accompagné s’il le faut par des personnes formidables, passionnées et à l’écoute de la moindre question ! Je n’hésiterai pas à revenir lors d’un prochain voyage à Ténérife !

Expérience à faire sans réfléchir si vous aimez l’automobile. Un pur moment de plaisir et de sensations de conduite sans filtre. Les routes de l’île se prêtent à la perfection avec ce type de véhicule. Frédéric est très sympa et arrangeant !

Expérience inoubliable. La conduite d'une Caterham était une 1ere pour moi et je ne suis vraiment pas déçu, les petites routes de montagne de Tenerife étant le terrain de jeu parfait pour ce type d’engin. Des sensations pures et sans filtres comme on n’en trouve plus, avec une mélodie enivrante une fois passés les 4000 tours. Couplé avec la connaissance du terrain de Christophe et Frédéric qui nous ont concocté un itinéraire aux petits oignons, 7drivetenerife est un must pour découvrir l’île comme il se doit.

Expérience sur mesure et exceptionnelle. Les deux fondateurs connaissent très bien l'île et les meilleures routes à prendre. Le simulateur de pilotage professionnel procure de très bonnes sensations et la Caterham 340 SV offre des sensations de conduite incomparables. À faire au moins 1 fois dans sa vie pour tout amateur de conduite sportive !

Organisation au top, voiture extraordinaire, un vrai kart avec une plaque d immatriculation. Voiture sans filtre et à respecter car aucune assistance mais c’est la vraie façon de conduire. Nous reviendrons . Merci

Booked the 1 hour instructor test drive and it was a really great experience. I was even asked if I needed a pick-up close to my hotel. The Drive itself was a crazy experience and i can highly recommend it for anyone looking for a bit of adrenaline. It was worth the money for sure. Christophe is a great guy and we had a lot of fun.

One of the best driving experiences I have had, if not the best, with 7DriveTenerife. The car, the weather, the roads, where should I start?! Fred is a great person and instructor as well. A must when you visit Tenerife!

Such an amazing experience! I am too young to be able to go for a solo ride but I was desperate to be able to experience a Caterham for the first time, so I went for a ride up the volcano Teide with Fred. I loved every second of it, the weather was perfect, the views were beautiful and the car was so powerful. Fred is very kind, enthusiastic and such a brilliant driver, he made the trip so exciting and so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this experience for others, whether you drive it yourself or whether you go with Fred, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

What an incredible experience! We rented a Caterham for a half-day self-drive, and it was absolutely unforgettable. Cruising through forests, climbing up to Mount Teide, and winding our way across volcanic roads - it was a petrolhead’s dream. The cars are almost brand new, seriously quick, and surprisingly manageable once you get the hang of them. The route is packed with stunning views and proper driver’s roads - twisty, technical, and a total joy. All the gear was provided, from driving shoes to a jacket for the cooler mountain sections — a great touch. Whether you’re going solo or with a passenger, I’d highly recommend the self-drive option. And if you’re on your own, be sure to join a tour with Fred . That said, this isn’t for messing around. The Caterham is serious kit and deserves to be treated with respect. If you’re just looking for a laugh with your mates, this probably isn’t the right fit -but for anyone who loves driving, it’s pure joy. This is a young business, but it’s clear it’s going places. What a day I had on Wed 23rd July. Very easy and laid back communication initially via email, later directly via Whatsapp. As I’ve requested an all day booking relatively close to my holiday stint I was a bit worried but Christophe immediately came up with a day that suited me perfectly. Me being 10 years seasoned Caterham driver I came more or less prepared - sun cream/long sleave and hoodie to change/gloves/narrow shoes/water/maps. But - I didn’t have to do any of this as Christophe had me all covered. He drove the car HIMSELF to my resort on the other side of the island and shared his location live ever since he set off. Then he asked me to lay out my ideas about my day. He patiently listened to everything I’ve said and then more or less reversed it all and navigated me LIVE all through the day as and when I needed. I did 180 miles in 7 hours - including fuel and food stops and overall had an absolutely amazing day. I would recommend this to any Caterham enthusiast as it was a price of an average Brands Hatch GP track day in the UK.
