We bought a car from Global Car Centre a couple of years ago. At the time Peter was extremely helpful and made the process so easy for us including sorting the insurance , ITV , breakdown cover and long term parking at Alicante Airport. We have never purchased a vehicle in Spain before and wasn't sure of the procedure. We approached Global cars after seeing a vehicle they had for sale. After speaking to Peter we decided to consider the purchase but wasn't impressed when payment had to be made up front. After great consideration and the promise we would be refunded if the vehicle wasn't suitable we took the plunge. They sorted all the paperwork and insurance and the car was ready for pick up when we arrived in Spain. Challenging process buying a car online in a foreign country. What could possibly go wrong? Fortunately, from my initial contact with Peter, the buying process went very quickly and smoothly. He responded instantly to my queries and the car was delivered as agreed. When my wife and I arrived at Murcia Airport to collect the car for the first time, it was as expected, no surprises. I’m thrilled with the fantastic service I received! The entire buying process was incredibly easy. We found the perfect car on the website, and after speaking with Peter, we felt completely reassured and reserved it right away. Caution Advised – My Experience with this Garage I recently reserved a second-hand Lada Kalina from this garage, paying a €1,000 deposit online. I live in Mallorca, and after making the reservation, I discovered that obtaining spare parts for this model could be problematic. My local garage informed me they wouldn’t be able to service it, and Lada Spain confirmed that some parts (approximately 20%) may not be available in Spain and could take several weeks to arrive if needed. Given these complications, I decided to cancel the purchase the next working day. However, the garage declined to refund my deposit, citing their terms and conditions. They mentioned that two other buyers had inquired about the car in the hours following my reservation, although I found this surprising as the car had been on their forecourt, unsold, for two years. They also informed me that their other Lada Kalina, which was similarly unsold for two years, had been sold on the same day. However, I observed that the car continued to be advertised on their website weeks later. When I expressed my opinion that the purchase was covered under EU and Spanish distance selling regulations, the garage did not engage with that aspect of the discussion. They also stated that expenses had been incurred, which I offered to cover from my deposit, but my offer was refused. I am now in the process of seeking advice from Consumer Affairs. While this is my personal experience, I would recommend that potential buyers carefully consider all aspects before making any commitments they may later regret.

Peter clearly loves what he does. He's very passionate about cars and has obviously spent decades selling them and getting to know people. He was very low key and there was no pressure at all. We tested two vehicles of interest and never felt rushed. Peter gave us a very good deal on the car we bought and a fair trade in for our old one. His knowledge of the car business in Spain is very useful as well. He even managed to prioritise the ITV (Spanish MOT) so we could pick the car up as early as possible to enjoy it before flying back home. Would definitely check out Global Car Centre again when I am ready to change vehicle.

We just sold our car to Global Cars in Moraira. They gave me a price in the morning which I checked and was reasonable. We completed the paperwork in the afternoon and arranged to leave the car at Alicante airport. All went v smoothly and a couple off days later the money was in our account. The most helpful and Customer focused Team - I decided to purchase a car after becoming tired of hire car prices. Being UK based, viewing cars onsite was difficult, and I missed out on a couple I saw advertised. On seeing a perfect car for me online, I didn’t hesitate and contacted Peter. Peter took the time to speak to me, answer all of my questions and to my relief handled everything - insurance etc. I also took advantage of the fantastic Airport parking the company offers, which is so simple to use via their ap and very economical. All I have had to do is let them know when I was arriving and when I would return the car. Picked up at the airport, taken to my car and talked through everything- once I was happy I was on my way. My new car is exactly as described - even better to be honest - spotlessly clean, low mileage, not a mark on it, clean oil - had clearly been thoroughly serviced………Unfortunately a couple of days into my trip, I managed to lock my keys inside the car, I called Peter and within an hour or so I was back in my car thanks to his son coming and helping me. They have treated me like family, their only motivation was to make sure their Customer was happy. I cannot recommend this company more - service as it should be with the Customer at the heart of their business. Thank you for helping me when I needed, I cannot recommend this business more.

I cannot recommend Peter and his team enough! From start to finish they made the process of buying our new (second hand) car in Spain so easy. They part exchanged our existing car, and drove our new car down to Almeria so that we'd have it on our next visit! All paperwork taken care of too so all I had to do was choose the car! As and when we ever need a new car we will be going straight back to Global Car Centre :)

We came across Global purely by chance after looking for a car dealer to buy a car from as an alternative to renting cars every time we visit our house in Spain. They seemed to be just the company we wanted to deal with. The reputation and reviews appeared to be first class and the selection of cars was very good. We have never purchased a car without actually seeing it, let alone driving it. The gentleman we dealt with, Peter, was very reassuring during our conversations, prior to actually making the purchase, and i have to say he did not let us down. Very much a man of his word which is rare these days. The car was just as described and the few issues we did have with it were sorted out very quickly and without any fuss. We bought our first car in Spain through Global Cars and have had great service. The first car purchase experience at Global some years ago was good and simple, so when I wanted to change that car for another, I went straight to them. We were in the UK at the time and the purchase was done online without seeing the car - first time I have done that but all was well - the car was as described and Peter left me to look it over to make sure I was happy. A couple of small jobs I asked to be done were done without fuss; the paperwork was completed with little input from me - so once again it was a good and easy purchase. I will be back there for my next car.

I hadn't planned on buying a car until I saw this year's car rental rates between €1000 and €1500 for 3.5 weeks. So I had a word with my friend of very many years, he does not suffer fools and bought his second car from Global last year, which was as good as any endorsement I could get. I was a little apprehensive so decided to buy the cheapest car they had, which wasn't ideal, RH drive and a bit battered. I spoke to Peter who assured me the car was solid and he put 12 months ITV on the car. The insurance, transfer document and their car parking facility came to the same cost as the car! But was completely hassle free setting up and all taken care of by Global. Any queries I've had have been dealt with quickly and efficiently, top marks all round so far. I'm coming back out to Spain for a month in September and if the car holds out :) it will have paid for itself. When I upgrade in the not too distant future it will be through these guys.

I strongly recommend Global Car Centre to anyone who wants to buy a quality used car from the most helpful people in the Marina Alta area. We moved to Javea in 2017 and rented a van for two months so we could take our time buying a used car. During that time, I went to dozens of used car dealers as well as the used car lots at new car dealers. In Javea, Denia, ... Calpe. Aside from having the best selection of quality used cars, Global Car Centre was the only place where they helped me. We needed an automatic 7 seater and I was entirely unfamiliar with the Citroen's, Peugeots and Renaults. Peter Higginson, the MD, took a lot of time walking me through them. In the end, I bought a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso. Peter also helped arrange the insurance for the car. There were a couple little things which needed to be fixed. Peter arranged for me to pop over to their garage in Denia and they were fixed in an hour. I have had no problems with the Citroen since I bought it. Four years later, in 2021, I needed to buy another used 7 seater, this time for my father-in-law, who had made the mistake of buying a used car from another dealer. He had a lot of problems with that car. So, this time, I went right to Global Car Centre. Once again, Peter helped me out as the 7 seater selection was different. This time I got a wonderful Ford Galaxy, slightly larger than my Citroen and with a powerful engine. I took the Ford and gave my father-in-law our Citroen! As before, I had a few little things to be fixed and Peter arranged for them to be done at the Denia garage again. If you need a used car, I suggest you don't waste your time driving all over Marina Alta. Just head over to Global Car Centre.

A few emails, a quick visit, exchange 2 older cars for 2 newer ones, get insured and drive away all within a week ! - no chance right?....Wrong ! Here you can. Peter and the team are great. Very responsive, nothing too much trouble and onward service and support available, even arranged for one of the cars to be at Moraira the next day for us to view and drive. It's little wonder they've been going so long. Great attitude to the customer and ready to help (seems on any matter really). Good work Peter and team and look forward to keeping in touch.

Disgraceful, purchased the car to be delivered, after going through the car discovered that I had been completely miss led. The car was advertised as having a two year dealer warranty, it had expired, so no warranty, the car was was advertised as having a full dealer service history, it did not and the car was advertised as having 54000 kilometres on the clock it had 62000.I also confirmed all these things with Peter verbally before making the deal. I called the dealer for an explanation and nothing but a hopelessly fictional bunch of excuses. The response below from the used car salesman is also full of inaccuracies, the statement that I was offered a full refund is complete fiction, this was never was offered, the claim regarding full Renault history also is not true, it has been serviced elsewhere. There is no detail of any replacement warranty, other than "get a quote" So now even more disgraceful!

I purchased a car whilst in Spain in January this year. On my return in March Global cars had arranged for me to be met at the airport and driven to pick the car up to enable me to continue to my Spanish property. Due to the pandemic, I found myself back in the UK when the annual tax renewal was required. I contacted Global who organised this for me. This month, whilst still in the UK, the MOT was due. Once again I contacted Global with assistance to obtain the necessary paperwork to enable the parking company to carry this out for me. In all my dealings with Global Cars they have been so efficient and helpful that I can fully recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a car in Spain.

I purchased a Seat Altea from Global Cars just under a year ago. Since buying the vehicle, I’ve had excellent after sales support and help from the team. Myself and my husband were moving to Spain and wanted to buy a small automatic car. The thought of this seemed very daunting. We narrowed it down to a Hyundai i10. I looked at all the Costa Blanca car dealers websites and came across Global Cars Dealerships. They had a Hyundai i10 for sale and it seemed the right one for us. I have never bought a car without seeing it, but hey give it a try. I rang and spoke to Peter Higginson the managing director. Peter was so helpful and to my surprise he said he would deliver it to the airport (saving on a hired car). Peter also arranged the insurance on the car. Me and my husband arrived at Alicante airport and were met by Trevor who was very polite and helpful who took us to our car. We love the car, just what we wanted. Many thanks to Peter and his team, not forgetting Michelle and Sarah. Global cars exceeded my expectations providing quality customer service. What a team.

Whilst on holiday we left the car lights on and drained the car battery flat (not used to this car) it was on my wife’s birthday and we were due to go out for the day. My wife was upset particularly as we were staying in a rural spot where a car was essential. I called global car as the first car place on google near me and was blown away with their response. Realising our situation they sent someone out to jump our car and when I asked how much they said no don’t worry about it, we couldn’t leave you stuck. How amazing to find a company with such a great attitude and caring qualities, thank you for your help you have no idea how much you saved the day! Just bought a small , low mileage used car. Possibly not the cheapest, but good, honest and friendly service from a family run company that has been part of the Costa Blanca resident and non-resident owner scene for longer than most of us care to remember. Based around used car purchases and sales plus their well known Alicante airport long term parking facility, Global also help with other local car related topics like repairs, servicing, ITV, body shop work etc. The complete (non-rental) car package!
